7200 Miles Big Trip for a Bigger Adventure

Wow what a trip, 24 hours from the time I left my house till we arrived in our hotel rooms. It really didn't seem that long though. I am so excited for the next few days, i really think its going to be a great adventure, and that we are going to have a lot of fun, I'm with friends its guaranteed. it doesn't even seem like we are in another country, its just like the US except there are a lot of signs I can't read. Looking forward to meeting more people today, so far everyone has been really nice, and interesting to talk to. One thing I did notice that was different is that when you say thank you to a waiter or waitress they do not reply, guess its just part of the culture though. We ate breakfast, and the next scheduled event is lunch. :)

Living it up in South Korea,

  1. I noticed that the service here is way different from what we experience at home. When we eat out we have come to expect that we get checked on several times, plates cleared out of our way etc., but that is very different here. I also think it is funny how when they bring food out to us, everything is in separate dishes, (not like when we eat out in the us where you usually have a meat, veggie, etc all on one plate), and they have a certain way to arrange it in front of us.
