Seoul-Day 1

One word-WOW. I am surprised how similar Seoul is to New York City. All of the buildings are side by side with multiple stories. On the way to Seoul National University from Incheon I noticed that every little bit of land matters. They try to pack as many living plants in one area as possible. We passed a park and there where 8 newly planted trees within a few feet of each other. Also, they have vines covering a lot of the unsightly walls along the street. Everyone at SNU have been so wonderful and accommodating. Oh, in our bathrooms the toilets are bidets! At first I had no idea what that was but they are pretty high tech. The rooms here are great, we even have a little balcony. One more thing before I go. We had our first Korean dinner last night and it was delicious. My hand started cramping about five minutes into the meal because I was trying so hard to operate the chopsticks! That's it for now, but make sure to keep checking back.
