Seoul Here We Come!

Hello!

Excitement does not begin to describe the feelings I have when I think about my upcoming trip to South Korea. All the months of planning are finally coming to an end, and on May 31st we will be taking off on the adventure of a lifetime.  I never considered studying abroad before this opportunity came up, but when I heard all the details I knew I couldn't pass it up!

I am a senior at the University of Florida, studying agricultural education.  I grew up working with my Dad on our farm and that is where I developed my love of agriculture.  I was never apart of FFA in high school and honestly did not know what it was until I came to college.  As soon as I found agriculture education I knew it was where I belonged. As a small town girl I was used to being a big fish in a small pound, I found myself lost and overwhelmed in a university of 50,000.  Finding my own niche was a requirement.  I am apart of several different agriculture related clubs and groups including an agriculture sorority, Sigma Alpha.

I hope to really broaden my horizons on this trip and soak up as much knowledge as I can.  I want to try everything and have experiences that change my perception on life, and immerse myself completely in the culture of this amazing country.
