Next Stop: Seoul, South Korea

Hello! In less than two weeks, I will be leaving the United States for the first time to travel half way around the world!! My classmates and I will be headed to Seoul, South Korea! We have been preparing for this trip, learning about the culture, religion, education systems, and agriculture in South Korea, and in a short time we will finally begin our adventure!

Let me start by telling you a little about myself. I just completed my first year of graduate school at the University of Florida. I am studying agriculture education, and in just over a year I will be an agriculture teacher.  I earned my bachelors degree from the University of South Florida in Environmental Science in 2011.  I have grown up loving agriculture, raising animals, and involved in both 4-H and FFA since I was 7 years old.  I am so excited to see how agriculture is taught in South Korea, and how the FFK compares to FFA.  I think that both ourselves and our counterparts in Seoul will gain so much knowledge and awareness from this study abroad program.  I cant wait!

See you at the airport!
