Hello!! Much like the rest of my classmates, I am counting down the days until we leave for our adventure to Seoul, South Korea!! This is something I never imagined myself doing. The thought of studying abroad even for a short period of time never crossed my mind as something that I would do. However, when this opportunity presented itself, I soon realized that this was an experience I could not pass up! Not only am I going to experience another culture, I am also going to see first hand South Korea's way of teaching Agriculture in their schools, something that I will be able to apply directly to my future carreer goals!
Before we embark on this amazing adventure, I want to tell you all a little bit about myself! I just finished my sophomore year as a Penn State student! I am majoring in Agriculture and Extension Education, and minoring in Animal Science. I have lived on a farm all of my life, and have been showing dairy cows since I was old enough to do so. I quickly developed a love and passion for my animals and agriculture as a whole. It is my dream to make the public more aware of agriculture and its presense in everyday life. I am currently working towards my dream while working as the summer 4-H assistant at the Franklin County Extension Office. It is my hope that my passion will shine through to the kids I will be in contact with this summer, and in my future carreer.
In just a few days I will be packing up and leaving the comforts of my home here in Pennsylvania. I know that this experience is going to change my life in some way, and I hope that by following along with us you, too, will learn a new thing or two!

Until next time!
